Married to Freddie Marion Bryant Jeanene Bryant, 89, of Wichita Falls, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 4, 2022. The family will receive friends at a visitation from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 6th at Lunn's. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 7th at Grace Baptist Church with Bro. Danny Taylor and Bro. Don McFarland officiating. Burial will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Lakeview Cemetery in Marietta, Oklahoma, under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home. Jeanene was born on January 12, 1932, in Marietta, Oklahoma, the daughter of Archie and Zona Johnston Buckley. She was a homemaker and preacher's wife for over 65 years. She loved vacations to the mountains, where she enjoyed fishing, bird watching and outdoor activities. Jeanene was a faithful witness for the Lord and enjoyed singing and hearing others sing Christian music, especially her family members. She was the Meme everyone wished they had. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Wichita Falls. Jeanene is preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Belva Bryant; five brothers, Everett Buckley, Gerald Buckley, Kelly Buckley, Joe Buckley and Benny Buckley; three sisters, Estill Buckley, Iris Landrum and Sue Dvorak. She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Buddy (F.M.) Bryant; her son and daughter-in-law, Marrion and Jackie Bryant; her daughter and son-in-law, Belinda and Tim Blackwell; one sister, Sally Roberts of Ardmore, OK; four grandchildren, Shannon Byerly and husband, Jim; Melissa Silva and husband, Jose; Tim Blackwell, Jr. and wife, Crystal; and Terrence Blackwell; seven great-grandchildren, Dylan Blackwell, Merritt Byerly, Carson Blackwell, Cadence Blackwell, Savannah Blackwell, Reece Byerly and Andy Silva.
