Reddout Services for Mrs. Zona Buckley will be today (Friday) in the Eastside Baptist Church with Rev. F. M. Bryant officiating. Mrs. Buckley was born January 4, 1894, in DeWitt County, Texas, the daughter of Farmer and Sally Kelley Johnston. She died September 2, 1992, in the Love County Health Center, Marietta, at the age of 98. A resident of Marietta since the early 1900's, Mrs. Buckley married Archie Buckley July 15, 1911, in Marietta. She was a homemaker, a charter member of the Eastside Baptist Church, and member of the R.S.V.P. and Extension Homemakers Club. Survivors include four sons and daughters-in-law, Gerald and Jeanette Buckley of Carmichael, California, Everett Buckley of Shreveport, Louisiana, Joe and Ruth Buckley of Marietta, and Benny Buckley of Tulsa; four daughters and sons-in-law, Iris and Gene Landrum and Sally Roberts of Ardmore, Sue and Joe Dvorak of Marietta, and Jeanene and F. M. Bryant of Wichita Falls, Texas; a sister, Inez Kerr of Marietta; 24 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Buckley was preceded in death by her husband on December 26, 1957; a daughter, Estill Buckley in 1915; a son, Kelly Buckley in 1981; two brothers and five sisters. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery under the direction of the Anderson-Kennedy Funeral Home. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers and honorary bearers.
