Bio
Gerald Meredith Buckley, 95, joined his late wife Jeanette H. Buckley in heaven on March 11, 2014. He was born in Marietta, OK, October 30, 1918, He was the 3rd born of 10 children. He was an Army Air Corp Veteran of World War II. He retired after 33 years from Crystal Creamery, Sacramento. He then retired from Buckley Heat and Air in 1983 after 6 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Archie, and Zona Naomi, 2 brothers and 1 sister, infant son Paul Meredith, and son Richard Bruce (Lisa). He is survived by 4 sisters, 2 brothers, 4 children, Judith Snell (Thomas), Kenneth (Candice), Brian (Karen), Nancy Currey (Stephen), 16 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. Memorial service and reception will be held 6:30 PM Monday, March 17 at Faith Bible Church 8071 Old Auburn Rd, Citrus Heights. Published by Sacramento Bee on Mar. 15, 2014.
