Daughter of Joseph Schill & Mary Magdalena Vogelbacher. Married William J. Schoonover on October 16, 1894. The Franklin News-Herald - Monday, February 21, 1938 A high mass of requiem for the happy repose of the soul of Mrs. Mary Lavina Schoonover, 72, who died at her home, 207 West Front Street, Oil City, on Friday, was celebrated at 9 a.m. today in St. Stephen Church. Rev. Carl Lippert, assistant pastor of the church, was celebrant of the mass. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery. Death certificate gives age as 72 years, 9 months and 16 days. Son, Joseph Schoonover, was informant. Buried February 21, 1938.
