Vernon Appel officiated. He was BORN 9/18/1897 in Thorndale, where he lived all his life. Retired farmer. Member of above church. Preceded in death by 6 brothers, sister, and grandson. SURVIVORS: Wife, Frieda Wuensche of Thorndale; daughter & husband, Evelyn & Landy Felfe of Thorndale; 5 sons & wives, Leroy & Shirley, Charles R. & Alice of Thrall, Leonard, Jr. & Patsy, Freddy & Carol of Thorndale, Bobby & Ruth Ann of Taylor; sister, Lillie Tubbs of Palestine; 23 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
