She married Henry Louis Matula 12 August 1929, in Williamson, Texas, United States. They were the parents of at least 1 son and 2 daughters. She lived in Schwertner, Williamson, Texas, United States for about 5 years and Williamson, Texas, United States in 1950. She died on 26 April 2003, in Taylor, Williamson, Texas, United States, at the age of 94, and was buried in Granger, Williamson, Texas, United States. Note: Bernarda "Bertha" Maria Cervenka Matula, 94, of Granger passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2003. Bertha was born in Granger, Texas, on October 15, 1908, the daughter of William and Mary (Janak) Cervenka. On August 12, 1929, she married Henry Matula, who preceded her in death on March 16, 1980. She was also preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Evelyn Vrana, son-in-law, Clifton Rozacky, one great-grand daughter, one sister, and five brothers. Survivors include a daughter, Dorothy Rozacky of Taylor; two sons, Norbert Matula and wife Barbara of Taylor, and Frank Matula and wife Virginia of Taylor; three sisters, Otillie Lindemann of Johnson City, Delores Volek and husband Paul of Taylor, and Helen Lindemann of Bertram; brother, Alfred Cervenka and wife Martha of Granger; two sisters-in-law, Sally Cervenka of Granger and Anna Matula of Taylor. A rosary will be will be held Sunday at 7:00 p.m., at Condra Funeral Home. Funeral services are set for 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 28, 2003, at Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Granger, with fathe r Isidore Ndagizimana officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Granger. Condra Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
