Bio

Caroline was the daughter of Thomas J Powell and Henrietta Howells from Wales, She married Lyman Spaulding about 1840. They had 3 sons, Thomas, Freeman and Lyman. Her husband Lyman died in 1845 and she remarried widowed Philip Wolf Jr in 1848. To them they had 3 daughters, Harriet, Henrietta and Sarah Jane. Both Philip and Caroline died within 24 hours of each other of typhoid in Oct 1854. Caroline's 3 sons later enlisted in 51st O.V.I. to fight in the Civil War and all 3 died of disease in Nashville TN.
