Bio

Philip was the son of Philip Wolfe and Anna Margaretta Waggoner. ∼ He was born in Cumberland County, PA on Oct. 29, 1806. The family emigrated to Ohio in about 1810. Philip married first Elizabeth Meek on July 4, 1833. She died in 1847 and he was remarried to Caroline Powell Spaulding, widow of Lyman Spaulding, on Feb 10, 1848. .
