The Kansas City Star, Kansas City, MO, Wednesday, Jun 28, 1933, pg 8: "HACKETT --- George L. Hackett, 71 years old, died yesterday at General hospital. He leaves his widow, Mrs. Mollie Hackett of the home, 1837 Benton Boulevard; four daughters, Mrs. Clara Ainsworth of the home; Mrs. Georgia Wooliver, North Kansas City; Mrs. Kitty Walker, New Plymouth, Idaho, and Mrs. Ida Zimmerman, Dallas, Tex.; three sons, John D. Hackett, 3008 Monroe avenue; Harley Hackett, 3008 Matthews avenue, and Paul Hackett, Bend, Ore.; three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Heck, Rich Hill, MO; Mrs. Anna Giboney, 4517 Roanoke parkway, and Mrs. Bert Caven, Butte, Mont., and a brother, Samuel Hackett, Orrick, MO. Funeral services will be at 10:30 o'clock Thursday at the Lindsey chapel, 3811 Broadway. Burial will be at Rich Hill."
