Hackett, 55, collapsed yesterday on the street near the home, 1205 Troost avenue, and died shortly after being carried into his residence. He apparently suffered a heart attack. Mr. Hackett was a truck driver in the construction industry and recently had been employed at the Mid-Continent International airport in Platte County. He was a member of local No. 541 of the Teamsters and Chauffeurs union, A.F.L. Mr. Hackett had lived here forty-three years. He was born at Rich Hill, MO. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Opal Hackett of the home, and three sisters, Mrs. Georgia Wooliver and Mrs. Clara Simmons, both of 1609 South Fifty-second street terrace, Wyandotte County, and Mrs. Ida Parks, Phoenix, Ariz. Funeral services will be held at 11 o'clock Monday at the Mellody-McGilley-Eylar chapel. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Monday at the Green Lawn cemetery, Rich Hill."
