Arizona Republic, Phoenix, AZ, Wednesday, May 2, 1973, pg 75: "Ida M. Parks, 70, who came to Phoenix in 1942 from Albuquerque and was a member of the Arizona Homemakers Club, died Monday in Northwest Hospital in Glendale. "Survivors of Mrs. Parks, 5201 W. Camelback, a native of Rich Hill, MO, include her husband, Walter R.; a son, John of Alhambra, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. Jeanne Pike of Dallas; and three grandchildren. "Services will be at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow in Chapel of The Chimes, 7924 N. 59th ave., Glendale. Burial will be in Glendale. Burial will be in Glendale Resthaven Cemetery.
