w/o Noah M KING md. 8 Apr 1829 ,Sangamon, IL possibly the daughter of Mr RUDDELLS of Ruddells Mills, Bourbon, KY OBITUARY DIED-Jane King was born in Oredell County, North Carolina, July 8, 1809, died April 7, 1891. Her maiden name was Jane Randalls. When six years of age, she came with her parents to the state of Kentucky and in 1828 they moved to Sagamon County, Illinois, where she was married to Noah M. King April 8th, 1830, and joined the Cumberland Presbyterian Church soon afer and lived a consistent Christian life until her death. She with her husband moved to Madison County, Iowa in 1865. To them were born ten children, three have gone before and the father preceded her by eight years. The deceased was a true wife and a loving mother. She lived for Christ and to her death was a gain. The funeral services were conducted at the old home where a large concouse of heart-stricken friends and relatives assembled to pay the last sad tribute of respect that a civilized world owes to its dead.
