Rosalie Schwirtlich Frantz Mar 17, 1932 - Oct 28, 2019 Rosalie Schwirtlich Frantz died on October 28, 2019 at the age of 87 in Webster, Texas. Rosalie is survived by her husband of 64 years, Howard Frantz; her eight children and their spouses, Jeffrey & Patty Frantz, Dennis Frantz, Michael & Cheryl Frantz, Donna & Michael Klehn, Robert & Joy Frantz, Terri Craven, Patricia & James Sandell, and Phares & Kirsten Frantz; 25 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her daughter, Phelomina Frantz; her parents, Joseph and Otillia Schwirtlich; and her 11 brothers and sisters. Rosalie was born in Nueces County, TX on March 17, 1932. She married Howard Frantz on September 17, 1955 at Saint Anthony's Church in Violet, TX. She enjoyed a full life of raising her children, including running her children to all of their sports programs, cooking meals, sewing clothes, crocheting and quilting blankets all while working full-time. Pallbearers will be Daniel Frantz, Josh Brunson, Johnny Carpenter, Christopher Carpenter, Justin Frantz, Carl Craven, Eric Sandell, Kyle Sandell, Phares Frantz, Jr., and Colton Frantz. The visitation is scheduled for 5:00 pm with the rosary beginning at 7:00 pm on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at Carnes Funeral Home in Texas City, TX. The funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 am on Friday, November 1, 2019 at Carnes Funeral Home in Texas City, TX with a reception to follow. Burial will take place on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at 10:45 am at Houston National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations are made to The Brain Recovery Project at brainrecoveryproject.org and The Wounded Warrior Project at woundedwarriorproject.org.
