Bio
Doris Marie Jones, 82, of Wimberley, Texas passed away September 11, 2017 and went to her eternal resting place in Heaven. Doris was born in Violet, Texas on August 10, 1935. She was preceded in death by her parents Mr. and Mrs. Joe Schwirtlich, her brothers, Edward Schwirtlich, Isidore Schwirtlich, Joe Schwirtlich, Jr., Leo Schwirtlich, Leon Schwirtlich, and Raymond Schwirtlich, and her sisters, Isabella Ranly, Rosina Bockholt and Teresa Lawson. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, John M. Jones and her children Kelli Treadwell, Johnette Daggs and Mark Houdmann, her brother, Sylvester Schwirtlich, and sister Rosalie (Howard) Frantz and seven grandchildren, Andrea, Charlie, Justin, Maggie, Natalie, Sarita and Taylor and twelve great grandchildren, Ayva, Caroline, Carter, Daxx, Jocelyn, Joseph, Karson, Keiton, Kingsley, Knox, Kaylie, and Madelyn. She had the gift of unconditional love and was the heart of her family. The Rosary will be recited on Friday, September 15, 2017 at 7:00 PM at Thomason Funeral Home in Wimberley, Texas, with visitation from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 10:00 AM at St. Marys Catholic Church, with Rev. Jason Bonifazi as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Wimberley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church in Wimberley, Texas (14711 Ranch Rd 12, Wimberley, TX 78676).
