Bio

Calloway Morris was the son of John and Rebecca Morris. He was born in 1826 in South Carolina. He grew up in Holmes County, Mississippi. He and his wife Margarete had five children including Francis, Martha Elizabeth, Mariana "Mollie", Minerva Ann and Mary Margaret "Maggie". By 1860, all five of their children were living with their grandparents John and Rebecca. Contributed by Julie Wallace #48774071.
