Bio

John Morris (b. 1788 South Carolina) and his wife Rebecca lived in Holmes, Mississippi. Their children included Martha Emily Morris, Calloway Frances Morris, Jane Morris, John Jordan Morris, William Morris and Elias G. Morris. Three of the five siblings "Martha, John and Elias" along with their mother Rebecca and brother Calloway's four children (Martha, Frank, Maggie and Mollie) were early settlers of Blackjack, Texas.
