M. Griffith Taken by Death - M. M. Griffith native of Hill county, but long-time resident of Ardmore, Oklahoma, died at his home there early Wednesday morning, according to word received by his sister, Miss Kate Griffith, chairman of the correspondence division of Baylor university. -- Mr. Griffith retired from business several years ago and had made his home with his daughter, Miss Mildred, Baylor graduate of the late 1920's and a teacher of science in the Ardmore High school. A son, James, who graduated at Baylor in 1930, is an instructor in radio in the army and is stationed in the state of Washington. -- In addition to the son and daughter and the sister here, Mr. Griffith is survived by another sister, Mrs. W. E. Mason (Nancy Elizabeth Griffith)of Denver. -- Mr. Griffith fell at his garage two weeks ago and broke his hip. He suffered a sudden sinking spell early Wednesday and died within a short time."
