Obituary of Harry Hilger Harry Hilger, 69, passed away Monday afternoon, Dec. 28, 1959 at his home in Elgin. Death was apparently due to a heart attack and came in the middle of the afternoon while he was resting. Mr. Hilger was born at David City on August 15, 1890, the son of Henry Hilger and Anna Victor Hilger and passed away at the age of 69 years, five months and 13 days. He is survived by his wife, Philomena, four daughters: Mrs. Joe (Elizabeth) Havlovic, Falls City, Mrs. Willard (Eunice) Klintworth, Ralston, Mrs. Leroy (Elaine) Spieker, Petersburg and Mrs. Clarence (Evelyn) Pelster, Elgin; four sons, Melvin, Milwaukee, Wisc., Kenneth, James and Henry of Omaha; 13 grandchildren; two brothers: Albert and Leo of David City and two sisters: Mrs. Rose Hiller, Bellwood and Mrs. Julie Kosch of Shelby. He was preceded in death by two brothers. The rosary was recited at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at Brooks Chapel. The body lay in state from 3: 00 to 9: 00 p.m. on Wednesday. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 Thursday morning (today) from St. Boniface church with The Rt. Rev. Msgr. T. H. Buelt officiating. Burial will be made in St. Boniface cemetery. Pall bearers will be: Jerry Starman, Anton Morisse, Norbert Schmitt, Leo Housmann, William Wirges and Arlon Reuss.
