Fort Bend Herald, July 16, 2018: Delphine Joe Maresh, 79, passed away Saturday, July 14, 2018 in Sugar Land. He was born July 30, 1938 in Needville to Emil and Katy Maresh. Delphine was of the Catholic faith and served his country in the U.S. National Guard. He retired as a machinist. Survivors include his sister, Dorothy Lipinski and a host of other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, 8 brothers, Emil Jr., Alex, Jim, Edwin, Vencil, Ernest, Adolph and Julius Maresh and 2 sisters, Agnes Zgabay and Mary Zgabay. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 20, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. in the Chapel at Davis Greenlawn Funeral Home with burial to follow at St. Wenceslas Catholic Church Cemetery in Beasley. Deacon William Bolf will officiate. Visitation will be Thursday evening, July 19, 2018 from 4-8 P.M. with a Rosary at 7:00 P.M.
