Houston Chronicle, January 6, 2008: Jim Maresh, age 90, beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend died peacefully surrounded by his family in Houston, Texas on January 2, 2008. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Millie; and his 4 children, son Frankie and wife, Virginia; daughter Genevieve and husband, Danny Haley, son Jimmy, and son Michael and wife, Donna; 9 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. His joys in life were camping and fishing with his children and grandchildren, and especially enjoyed family events and reunions. Visitation will be at 6 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Rosary on Tuesday, January 8 at Earthman Resthaven Chapel, 13102 North Freeway Houston, Texas 77060. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 AM on Wednesday, January 9, at Assumption Catholic Church, 901 Rose Lane, Houston, TX 77037. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven.
