Bio

Born in Smith County, then moving to the San Gabriel Community in Williamson County, (what is now named Liberty Hill), Carl was a farmer, as was his father. Later, as a retired farmer, he and wife, Maude moved to Thorndale in 1948 from the San Gabriel Community where they had resided for more than 30 years. SURVIVORS: Daughter, Mrs. Zoe Cooper of Humble; 2 sons, Noel Barron of Houston and Horace Barron of Cedar Creek; brother, Jeff Hurt of Llano; 5 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
