He married Anna Estella Stiefer November 16, 1877, in Smith County, Texas, and they raised nine children. They lived in Smith County until 1900, when they moved to Williamson County. By 1917, they were living in Roanoke, Denton Co., Texas, where he was living when he passed away. He passed away at home, from bronchitis and senility. He was a widower at his time of death. My 2nd Great Grandfather.
