Bio

BARRON, Noel of Houston. Age 72. Died 1/24/1978 (Tuesday) at M.D. Anderson Hospital, Houston, after a lingering illness. Services were held 1/27/1978 (Friday) at Heights Funeral Home, Houston. Burial in the Woodlawn Cemetery. Rev. P.S. Green officiated. He was a Baptist and was BORN 4/27/1905 in Williamson County, but grew up in Milam County. He married Miss Clara Moore 6/23/1923 and moved to Houston in 1942. He was the son of M/M Carl Barron, who preceded him in death as did a brother, Horace. After 25 years with the Metal Goods, Inc. he retired in 1970. SURVIVORS: Wife, Clara of Houston; daughter, Miss Marjorie Barron of Houston; son, James Barron of Douglassville; sister, Mrs. Zoe Cooper of Humble; 4 grandchildren, Cindy, Nancy and Jimmy Barron of Douglassville & Mrs. Brenda Montoga of Linden; 1 great-grandchild.
