Emil Jakubik Dies In Hospital Emil Jakubik, 49, of Waco, died Sunday afternoon in a Waco hospital. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 18 in Kotch Funeral Home Chapel in West. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Mary's Catholic Church in West with Rev. Mark Deering as celebrant. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery in West. Mr. Jakubik was born in Ennis, but had lived in the Waco area for the last 16 years. He was a painter, a member of St. Louis Catholic Church and a veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Judy Jakubik; a son, Clinton Jakubik; three daughters, Mrs. Diane Stone, Mrs. Elaine Copeland, Miss Sherry Jakubik, all of Waco; a brother, Frank Jakubik of Arkansas; three sisters, Mrs. Francis Kriska and Mrs. Mary Hajek, both of Ennis, and Mrs. Emily Ragland of Dallas; a grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Rudy Valek, Joe Valek, Johnny Mensik, Alfred Jakubik, Raymond Toupal, Frank Zabojnik. The West News, West, Texas, Volume 85, No. 47, Edition 1, Thursday, November 20, 1975, page 4.
