Robert J. Morin, age 63, of 1812 Connally Street in Waco, died Friday morning, December 1, 1989, in a Waco hospital. Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Sunday in Kotch Funeral Home Chapel, West. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 2 p.m. Monday in St. Louis Catholic Church, Waco, with Msgr. Mark Deering as celebrant. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery, West. Mr. Morin was born on January 13, 1926, in Plainville, Connecticut, where he was reared and educated. He had been a Waco resident since 1945 and was a self-employed tool and die maker for many years. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He married Judith Sykora Jakubik on September 17, 1978, in Waco. He was a member of the St. Louis Catholic Church in Waco. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Rickie J. Morin of Albany, Oregon, and Robert D. Morin of Waco; a daughter, Vickie Hutka of Temple; three stepdaughters, Diane Stone, Elaine Copeland, and Sherry Stephens, all of Waco; a stepson, Clinton Jakubik of Waco; a brother, Armond Morin of Seabring, Florida and 13 grandchildren. Pallbearers were Donnie Barber, Kenneth Copeland, J.P. Stephens, David Harthcock, Bud Clark, and Clinton Jakubik.
