Leonard, Texas -- Funeral services for Ms. Judy Cowan, 77, of Allen are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel in Leonard. Charles Wrenn will officiate. Burial will be in Indian Creek Cemetery. Family viewing and visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time Wednesday, March 21, 2018. Ms. Judy was born February 4, 1941 at Nobility, Texas. Her parents were Robert Andrew and Lena Rivers Wheeler Cowan. She was a member of the Baptist church, enjoyed walking and visiting Walmart. She loved people and was loved by many in return. She passed away Friday March 16, 2018 at the McKinney Healthcare Center. Judy Cowan is survived by her sister, Jackie C. Rocha, of Allen. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mildred Lee Cowan Rivette; a brother, Andrew Robert "Bud" Cowan; sisters, Hellen Mae Cowan and Dorotha Ray Cowan Mullis; a brother, Harland Ray Cowan; a sister, Betty Lou Cowan Grounds; a brother, Bobbie Jo Cowan Hiser, Johnsey Cowan Hedrick, Patsy Cowan Hefley, Linda Cowan Baker and Barbara Cowan Terry. Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home of Leonard is in charge of arrangements.
