Bio

MEAZELL, MELVA GEAN COWAN went home to her Lord and Savior on October 4, 2004. A beloved mother, she is survived by her five children, Ken Meazell, Deborah Cervantez, Malena Meazell, Gerald Meazell, and John Meazell, as well as ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Mrs. Meazell was born in Fannin County on June 3, 1927. After moving to Dallas she married Smith Andrew Meazell on September 6, 1946. Family members will receive visitors at Restland Funeral Home, 9220 Restland Road in Dallas, on October 5th between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home in the Wildwood Chapel on October 6th at 3:30 p.m. It is requested that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made in Geans memory to the Alzheimers Association,.
