Daughter of the late Edward J. and Mary McKissick King. She was the widow of Clarence H. Murphy. She was a housewife and member of the North Main Street Church of Christ. Survivors include five daughters; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Burial Rose Hill Cemetery. ref: obit
