Bio

The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Clarence Hayes Murphy and Kate King Murphy. She was a graduate of Hay Long High School and retired from Columbia Mill and Elevator where she was employed for thirty years. Mrs. Gibson was a member of Northview Church of Christ. Surivors include her daughter and son, and two sisters. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Martha Hayes Murphy, Katheryn Edwards and Sara Murphy. Funeral services Saturday with burial in Polk Memorial Gardens.
