Cathy Sue Dalton-Ross, of Pauls Valley, passed away Sept. 16, 2014, in Ada, at the age of 57 years. Cathy was born Jan. 6, 1957, in Leon, Okla., to Dallas Dean and Leota Odessa (Buckhanon) Gilbert. She was married to Fred Ross. She was a homemaker; a landlord with her husband, Fred; and was a member of the Baptist Church. Cathy enjoyed the outdoors especially fishing and boating. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dallas Dean and Leota Odessa Gilbert; her stepfather, Pete Hunt; five brothers, Thurman, Glen, Carol, Johnny and Jimmy Gilbert; a niece, Stefanie; and a nephew, Glen Jr. Surviving family includes her husband, Fred Ross of Pauls Valley; one daughter, Chassidy Dawn Bratcher and her husband, Clayton of Pauls Valley; two grandchildren, Trey Bratcher and Teagan Bratcher of the home; three sisters, Carolyn Gwin of Tulsa, Janice Cantwell of Gainesville, Texas, and Debra Key of Overbrook; and two brothers, Kenneth Gilbert of Healdton, and Ricky Gilbert of Ardmore. A memorial service will be announced at a later date and is pending at this time. Services for cremation are under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
