Bio

Robert Weaver had been a resident of DeSoto for over 35 years and had resided in Lancaster for the past 21 years. He worked for the Dallas County, District 3, for 27 years and was a member of Danieldale Church of Christ, Lancaster. He was the father of 14 children and is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lucy Weaver and 10 children. His surviving 10 children, all who were present at the funeral are sons: Austin Weaver, California; Rollon Weaver, Dallas; Newl Weaver, California; Ern Lee Weaver, Lancaster and Norman Weaver, Arlington. The daughters are: Mrs Irene Cretien, Mrs. Daisy Fowler, Mrs. Gladys Sanderson, Mrs Janey Curry, all of California; and Mrs. Patsy Dehart of Lancaster. He is also survived by sisters: Mrs. Clara Horn, Sherman; Mrs. Annie Matthews, Nadogdoches and 24 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Weaver remained active his entire life and was considered an asset to both the DeSoto and Lancaster communities where he was well thougt of.
