Bio

Mr. Olan Mathews and Miss Annie Weaver were married by Rev. S.D. Dollahite, pastor of the Baptist church of this city [Nacogdoches], at his home on North street. Only a few friends witnessed the ceremony, those present being Mr. & Mrs. Roland Jones, Mr. Cecil & Miss Emma Gaston and Mr. & Mrs. Scales. The bridal couple left Tuesday morning for Alto [TX], the former home of the groom, where they will visit briefly with his mother. They will return and make Nacogdoches their home. The bride is the daughter of Mr. R.T. Weaver of this city and is well known to all our people as a most deserving young woman. She was reared in this community, and for years has been connected with the Weaver Cafe, operated by her brother, Mr. Felix Weaver, where her courtesy won her many friends. The groom is a worthy young man, reared in Alto, and now engaged with the Roland Jones Mattress Factory of this city, where he is making good and making friends.
