Bio

Charlie was born premature and was called a "blue baby" He had to be revived. His dad was Joseph Smith and his mom was Mary Jane Smith. Charlie died at age 15 due to kidney disease and problems with his intestines that did not develop properly. A favorite story is that he wrote a letter to God asking for a baby brother. Mary discovered right after that she was indeed expecting and had a son. Charlie was very sweet and well loved. He is the oldest of 8 children of Mary Jane Smith Layton Jackson.
