Bio

Joseph Warriner Smith was born to Ella Edna Harkey and Albert Kirby Smith on February 20, 1896 in Boyce, Ellis, Texas. He married Mary Jane Smith around 1917. They had a son Charles Emerson Smith. Joe and Maime did not stay together. Maime raised Charles with her family. Charlie had chronic kidney disease and died before he turned 16 years old. According to Joe's death certificate he worked in the oil fields. He died of a cerebral hemorrhage. Later he married Vesta Erma Rogers and they had one son Albert Kirby Smith. Albert was born Aug. 22, 1925 Venus, Johnson, Texas, USA and died 23 Nov 1981 Temple, Bell, Texas, USA.
