Kasper, 54, of 3516 18th Street, died Monday in Behlen Hospital after an illness of nine months. Services will be conducted by the Rev. L.E. Mortensen, 2 p.m. Wednesday at the McKown Funeral Chapel with burial in Columbus Cemetery. Her body lies in state at the chapel. Lifetime resident of Columbus, Mrs. Kasper was born Sept. 20, 1918 to Walter and Elsa Pearl Smith Lusche. She attended local schools and married Rudy Kasper, June 16, 1937 at Trinity Lutheran church. Surviving are her husband; three sons, Dwight and William of Columbus, Gary of Dallas; mother, Mrs. Walter Lusche and brother, William H. both of Columbus. Her father died in 1964.
