Bio

Thanks to contributor #47035903 Rudolph Ernest Kasper, 80 3518 18th St. died Thursday, 11/28/1996, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Omaha. Services are 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at McKown Funeral Home in Columbus with the Rev. Paul Rowoldt officating. Burial is at Columbus Cenetery with military honors by Hartman Post 84 American Legion Honor Guard. Mr. Kasper was born 1/8/1916 at Schuyler to Frank and Anna (Knopf) Kasper and was educated in Colfax County. He married Mae Lusche on June 16, 1937. He was mechanic at Midstate Motors and Ernst Oldsmobile/Cadillac before retiring from Behlen Mg. Co. Survivors include three sons, Dwight of Columbus, Gary of Tules Okla and William of Fremont; two brothers, Emerson of St. Edward and Frank of Columbus, four grandchildren, four great grandchildren, three stepgrandchildren and six stepgreatgranchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, two brothers and two sisters. Memorials may be made to the donor;s choice.
