Esther E. Chrisp March 17, 1927 - April 14, 2017 Lincoln, Nebraska Esther Emma Jane (Howard) Chrisp, age 90, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2017 at the Martin House in Lincoln, NE. Esther was born on March 17, 1927 in Milburn, NE to Ira and Emma Fern (Tyson) Howard. Esther married Glen Chrisp on March 2, 1947 in Taylor, NE. She shared her wedding date with her sister and parents. Esther worked at The House of Bauer’s Candy Factory before going to work for Lincoln Public Schools where she worked in the cafeteria at Goodrich Jr. High, until she retired. She was a member of The Spirit of Hope Church. Esther is survived by her daughters, Ann Creps, Pat (David) Langston and Kathryn Townsend; her sons, Glen Chrisp Jr., Jerry (Deb) Chrisp, Mark Chrisp, and Kenny (Tanya West) Chrisp; daughters-in-law, Shawn Chrisp and Melody Chrisp; sister, Iris Spanel of Broken Bow, NE; sister-in-law, Bertha Howard of Phoenix, AZ; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Glen; sons, David and Wayne; Four brothers and four half-sisters. VISITATION Friday, April 21, 2017 from 5-7pm and FUNERAL SERVICE Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 12:30pm. Interment Lincoln Memorial Park. Condolences: lincolnfh.com Her pallbearers will be her great-grandson, Kaden Barnes and grandsons, Douglas, Steven and Dennis Creps; Justin and Tyler Chrisp; Billy and Corey Chrisp; Cameron, Ryan and Trevor Chrisp. Honorary pallbearers will be her granddaughters, Shannon Chrisp and Cassandra Ring; Jennifer Mack; Christele Chrisp; Kallee Chrisp and Jaymee Rodriguez. A reception will follow. Memorials suggested to the family for later designation.
