Sadie Hejl Havlak beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother went to be with the Lord on Sunday Sept. 25, 2016. at the age of 93, in San Angelo. She was born June 25, 1923 in Taylor, Texas, to Jim and Annie (Dusek) Hejl. She grew up in Taylor, Wall and Miles Texas. She married the love of her life, Philip Jacob Havlak on Feb. 1, 1942. They enjoyed 63 years of marriage before Philip passed away May 2, 2007. They lived in El Paso, Rowena, Miles and San Angelo. Throughout her life she was a homemaker and when she was younger she enjoyed sewing and cooking and helped work the farm. She also enjoyed playing cards and games with her family. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Philip Havlak; son-in-law Francis A. Fischer; great-granddaughter Rebecca Alberts; sisters Annie Wanoreck, Elsie Moeller, Bertha Holubec; and brother Jerry Hejl. She is survived by four children and their spouses, four grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters, and nieces and nephews. Mass for Christian Burial Sept. 29, 2016, at Cathedral of the Sacred Heart Church. Burial in the Calvary Cemetery in San Angelo. from obituary at Robert Massie Funeral Home
