Bio

Son of James William Clay of Bethany, Harrison County, Missouri and Minnie May Amsberry of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska. Harold Darius Clay graduated from Broken Bow High School in 1923. He was named Citizen of the Year in 1997 for his outstanding dedication to the children of the Anselmo, Nebraska community. He was a member of the Broken Bow Odd Fellows Lodge and a 50 year member of the Nebraska State Grange, belonging to the Fleming Valley, Round Hill and Custer Center Granges.
