Funeral Services Held for Joe Kuklish Funeral services for Joseph (Pep) Kuklish, 54, Elyria road maintainer operator, were held at the Hastings-Pearson chapel in Ord at 2 pm Monday, with the Rev. Dale Scheffler officiating. Burial was in Graceland of the Ord City Cemetery. Kuklish had been in ill health for about a year. Born in Czechoslovakia, Kuklish came to America with his parents at the age of 3. The family located at Sargent and shortly afterwards moved to Elyria where he lived the remainder of his life. He married Opal Erington at Taylor on April 4, 1929. To this union were born five children. Preceding him in death were his parents, one son, Perry, and a daughter, Jean Etta, who died in infancy. Besides Mrs. Kuklish he leaves two sons, Keith and Kenneth at Elyria, one daughter, Mary Lou of Elyria, two brothers, Emanuel of Hot Springs, S.D.
