Kuklish Rites Held At Chapel Keith Kuklish was born July 5, 1929 in Elyria to Joseph and Opal Erington Kuklish and died September 23, 1984 at the Veteran's Hospital in Grand Island, Nebraska at the age of 55. Keith was raised in the Elyria area and attended school in Ord and was a 1948 graduate of the Ord High School. Keith then entered the service for about two years. After returning home, he went to work for Service Oil in Ord, and worked there for nine years. He then went to work for the Valley County Roads Dept., where he worked as a patrol operator. He worked for the county for 21 years. Keith was a member of the American Legion Posts at both Burwell and Ord and also was a member of the Ord VFW. Survivors include his mother , Opal, of Elyria; one sister, Mrs. George (Mary Lou) Janicek; two nieces; and a number of aunts and uncles. Keith was preceded in death by his father, two brothers and one sister. Funeral services were held Wednesday, September 26, 1984 at 2 pm at the Ord Memorial Chapel with burial in the Ord City Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the kidney foundation.
