O. S. MOORE Sweetwater - Services for O. S. Moore, 89, a retired farmer and rancher, grandfather of Roxy Whiteside of Abilene, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Nolan United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Slater's Chapel Cemetery with the Revs. Ronnie Newton and Roy Havens officiating, directed by Cate-Spencer Funeral Home. He died Thursday evening at Holiday Retirement Center. A native of Callahan County, he was Nolan County Commissioner from 1938-1944, member of Taylor County Electric Co-op Board for 35 years, former member of Nolan County School Board and member of Nolan Methodist Church. Other survivors include his wife, Effie Moore; a son, Carl Moore of Nolan; two daughters, Katherine Cross of Plainview and Jean Tyrone of Irving; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
