Sanford Moore Sweetwater - Sanford B. Moore, 82, of Star Route in Blackwell, died at 7 a.m. Saturday at his residence of an apparent heart attack. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in McCoy Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. The Rev. James L. Kinsey, Ruth Cooper and Melvin Bird will officiate. Burial will be in Campbell Cemetery in Hilton [Hylton]. Born April 9, 1895 in Baird, Mr. Moore was a retired farmer. He married Grace Taylor on Jan. 25, 1919 in Phoenix, Ariz. He had lived in Nolan County since 1900. He was a veteran of World War I. He joined the Methodist Church in 1913. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Jon Bird of Hilton and Mrs. Dale Moore of Fort Harcourt, Nigeria; two brothers, Buell Moore of Blackwell and Otis S. Moore of Sweetwater; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Carl Moore, Alvin Dunlap, David Linn, J. M. Blair, Carson Buchanan and Martin Wagner.
