Parents were Julius Marion Younse & Delilah Angeline Scaggs (born in Arkansas). Younse, 91, longtime Roscoe resident, will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in First Baptist Church here. The Rev. Glenn Roenfeldt, pastor, the Rev. Avery Sullivan, pastor of Sweetwater Trinity Baptist Church, and the Rev. J.D. Stewart of Ft. Worth will officiate. Burial will be in Roscoe Cemetery under direction of Cate-Spencer Funeral Home of Sweetwater. Born Aug. 7, 1896 at Boston, Ark., he lived in Collin County a number of years before coming to Roscoe in 1927. He married Miss Mary Valley Frazier in D'Aburne, La., Nov. 28, 1888. Mrs. Younse died in 1958. He was a member of the First Baptist Church here. Survivors include eight daughters, Mrs. M.O. Flemmons of Tinga, Mrs. J.A. Dement of Sweetwater, Mrs. H.D. Bruton of Big Spring, Mrs. H.B. Richardson of Abilene, Mrs. Homer Scott of Stamford and Mrs. L. Dement, Mrs. Earnest Parrott and Mrs. Rhodes Arnold, all of Roscoe; three sons, Carlos of Roscoe, Harold of Baytown, and Orville of Missouri; 32 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
