(Published in Borger News-Herald, Monday, May 8, 1989) DUMAS - Nora Lottie Boren, 86, of Dumas died Saturday at Dumas Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Bible Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Clark, pastor, officiating. She was born Aug. 22, 1902 in Decatur. She moved to Dumas from Kress in 1968. She was a member of the Bible Baptist Church. She was preceeded in death by her husband, Charles Henry in 1967. Survivors include four sons, Kozell of Long Beach, Calif.; Clovis of Borger; Vernie of Lakewood, Calif.; Louis of Amarillo; six daughters, Donna Thompson of Elk City, Kans.; Mattie Bell Turner of Dallas; Mildred Hall of Dumas; Ruby Hortness of Donna, Texas; Mandolene Lovin of Amarillo; Lottie Johnson of Fritch; 37 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren. The family will be staying at 213 Pine in Dumas. Pallbearers will be Odess Lovin, Jr., John Poe, Brett Boren, Jimmie Douglas Baugas, and Tommy Boren.
