Gravesite details

Her marker is in the old part of the cemetery in the Leonard family plot, near the far fence. There are two markers for the Leonard plot. Her marker is flush with the ground and difficult to see.

Bio

Mary was the daughter of Alfred Samuel & Sarah Keene Doss. She married George Jones Leonard Jan. 22, 1893 in Wise County, Texas. Survivors: Husband Jones Leonard, son & Wife Lewis & Lillie Leonard, Daughter Lillie & husband James Johnson, Daughter Nora & husband Charles Boren, Jr. many grandchildren. Survivors include children and spouse's from earlier marriage to John Stout, William & Allie Stout, John & Samantha Stout, Joseph & Sally Stout & Sarah & William Young. ∼ Mary was born on March 3, 1863 to Alfred Smith Doss and Sarah Keen. She married John W. Stout in 1882 in Dallas, Dallas County, Texas. She married Jone L. Jones Leonard in 1893 in Decatur, Wise County, Texas. She passed away on November 6, 1931 in Decatur, Wise County, Texas.
