Fort Bend Herald, May 31, 2013: Funeral services for Bernice E. Christ, 83, of Richmond, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, June 2, 2013, at Peace Lutheran Church in Rosenberg, with Pastor Dick Kastner officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Saturday, June 1, 2013, in the State Room of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. Bernice was born on May 29, 1930 at home on the A.P. George Ranch in Fort Bend County, Texas to Leo and Hilda (Hill) Linke. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Rosenberg. Her parents, Leo and Hilda Linke, were charter members of Peace Lutheran Church. Bernice worked for Texas Instruments for 23 years. She passed away on May 30, 2013 in Katy, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband, Herman B. Christ, and her parents, Leo and Hilda Linke. Bernice is survived by her children, Kathleen Christ and husband, Terry Chupik, Rick Christ and wife, Debbie, Jeanie Brewton and husband, Bill, and Janie Costabile; brother, Nelson Linke and wife, Gerry; grandchildren, Christie and Christopher Brewton, Kyle and Angela Costabile, Jamie Stephens and husband, Chuck, Jennifer McQueen and husband, Clint; three great-grandchildren; along with other family members and friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Christopher Brewton, Kyle Costabile, Jerry Jenkins, Sonny Urbanek, Bobby Christ, and Richard Christ, Jr. For those wishing, memorial donations may be made in Bernice's name to Peace Lutheran Church - Renovation Fund, P.O.
