Herald Coaster, January 25, 1996: Funeral services for Hilda Hill Linke, age 91, of Richmond, will be held on Friday, Jan. 26, 1996, at 4:30 p.m. at Peace Lutheran Church in Rosenberg, with interment following at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. The Reverend Boyd Faust will officiate at the services. Hilda was born on August 30, 1904 in Welcome, and she passed away on Jan. 24, 1996 in Rosenberg. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fritz and Minnie Eben Hill. She is survived by her hubsand of 68 years, Leo Linke of Richmond; a daughter, Bernice Christ of Rosenberg; a son, Nelson A. Linke and his wife, Gerry, of Rosenberg; a sister, Frieda Wittneben of Needville; grandchildren, Kathleen Christ of Houston, Ricky Christ and his wife, Debbie of Eagle Lake, Jeanie Brewton and her husband, Bill of Richmond, Janie Costabile and her husband, Mike of Lake Hills, and Cynthia Ann Jenkins and her husband, Jerry of Seguin; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Ricky W. Christ, Bill Brewton, Jerry Jenkins, Mike Costabile, Herbert Eben, and Delbert Luedke. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Peace Lutheran Church. Friends may call after 3 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 25, at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Chapel, 3900 B.F. Terry Blvd., in Rosenberg.
