Bio

Victor G. Duspiva, 83, of Lodi died Dec. 23 at home following a lengthy illness. He was born in Illinois. Mr. Duspiva had lived in Lodi for the past nine years after moving from Galt. He owned and operated a dairy for much of his life prior to retirement. He enjoyed working around his farm and home remodeling. He also enjoyed helping neighbors with their homes. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Velma Thurston, Anna Coon and Pauline Noe; a brother, Frank Duspiva, and two infant brothers. Mr. Duspiva is survived by his wife of 47 years, Rachel Duspiva of Lodi; a son, Glenn Duspiva of Lodi; a daughter, Beverly Hoek of Idaho, three sisters, Odessa Eideimiller and Mildred Yankee, both of Idaho, and Jean Fisher of Oregon; and six grandchildren. There will be no services or visitation. Inurnment will be private. Gierhart-Wells & Donahue Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
