Emma Lee Cooper Emma Lee Cooper, 81, of Sweetwater died Thursday, August 12, 2004, at Hill Regional Hospital in Hillsboro. Services were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 14, 2004 at the McCoy Chapel of Memories. Reverend Donald Hunt officiated. Burial services were held at the Sweetwater Cemetery. Cooper was born Nov. 28, 1922 in DeKalb. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dwight E. Cooper Jan. 3, 1975. They married June 10, 1940 in Roby. Cooper was a Pentecostal. She lived in Sweetwater for over 50 years. She is survived by her two daughters, Barbara Tidwell of Brownwood, and Patty Johnson of Hubbard; her two sons, Billy Cooper and wife, Donna, of Abilene, Jim Cooper and wife, Joann, of Hubbard; one sister, Clara Hale of Sweetwater; 14 grandchildren; and 22 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will include Byron Chavez. Lester Holsey, Mackey Holsey, Tim Holsey, Troy Johnson and Raymond Tidwell. Honorary pallbearer will be Tony Johnson. From THE SWEETWATER REPORTER * * * * * *
